Howdy Farmers and Welcome to the Moonshine Saloon!
When farmers want to take a break from farming, they can now head to the Moonshine Saloon. Here, they can kick back relax and take part in one of our mini games.
We’re starting with three games & over time we’ll add more. To take part in these mini games you’ll need a little CORN and you’ll have a chance to win a big bag of CORN. You can use the CORN you grow on your farm or purchased from the markets.
Go to the Farmland Dashboard & join the fun by clicking the “Saloon” tab on the upper left.
You’ll be taken to a new page, where you’ll find the new mini games: the Super Draw, Harvest Lotto, Chicken Feed.
At the bottom of the page there’s a section where you can see your prizes & claim all your winnings.
Harvest Lotto
The Harvest Lotto is a lottery game, this lottery has no maximum amount although each purchase will be limited to 100 tickets. As long as you have CORN in your wallet, any Farmer can participate (you don’t even need an active farm).
Each round lasts for seven days and will only be started when a Farmer draws the winner for the previous week’s Lotto.
To take part in this Lotto you’ll have to allow the smart contract to purchase tickets by clicking ‘Approve’, that being done you’ll be able to Buy a ticket.
By clicking ‘Buy Ticket’ you’ll will be greeted with an interface which allows the purchase of ticket for this week’s draw. Please note, there is a gas fee & the more tickets you buy the higher this fee will be.
In addition to the Lotto, you’ll also be automatically entered into the Super Draw with the same amount of tickets e.g., if you purchase 10 tickets for the Lotto, you’ll also get 10 tickets for the Super Draw.
Please note, 10% of the CORN used to purchase your tickets will automatically be transferred to the Super Draw Prize Pool & won’t be included in the Harvest Lotto Prize pool. More about the Super Draw later.
At the end of the week, the ‘Draw Winner’ button and no further entries will be allowed until the next draw.
By clicking ‘Draw Winner’ you will trigger a series of functions within the smart contract and will receive 2% of the entire Prize Pool. In addition, the winner will be chosen at random & the Harvest Lotto’s Prize pool will be split as follows:
- 65% will be go to the winner of the draw
- 23% will be burned by the contract automatically
- 10% will be rolled over to the next week Prize Pool
- 2% goes to the first farmer to click ‘Draw Winner’ at the end of the week
Chicken Feed
The Chicken Feed game is inspired by Reddit’s ‘The Button’, it works similarly to the Harvest Lotto, but the winner is determined by the last player to ‘Feed The Chicken’.
Before you can “Feed the Chicken” you’ll first have to allow the smart contract to purchase tickets by clicking ‘Approve’, then you’ll be able to “Feed the Chicken”.
Please note, 10% of the CORN used to Feed the chicken will automatically be added to the Super Draw Prize Pool (more about the Super Draw later)

Once you’ve fed the chicken the countdown starts and lasts for 24 hours. The countdown can be reset at any time by any player who feeds the chicken.
Once the countdown expires, anyone can click ‘Start New Game’, this acts in a similar way to draw winner on the Lotto with first person to click the button receiving 2% of the entire Prize Pool. However, the winner will the last person that fed the chicken.
The Prize Pool breakdowns for the Chicken Feed mini game are the following:
- 65% will be go to the winner of the draw
- 23% will be burned by the contract automatically
- 10% will be rolled over to the next week Prize Pool
- 2% goes to the first farmer to click ‘Start New Game’ when the countdown expires.
Super Draw
By now, you’ve probably noticed that the other game transfers 10% of the purchase price into the Super Draw.
By entering the other mini games you get automatic entry into the Super Draw & you’ll receive a ticket for every CORN you’ve spent on the other mini games.
The Super Draw is a special mini game that will accumulate a large amount of CORN over time and concludes when the Prize Pool gets to 10,000 CORN.
At this point the ‘Draw Winner’ button will appear and any one can click the button and claim the closer’s fee of 1% of the Prize Pool.
The Prize Pool breakdowns for the Super Draw mini game are the following:
- 60% will be go to the winner of the draw
- 30% will be burned by the contract automatically
- 9% will be rolled over to the next week Prize Pool
- 1% goes to the first farmer to click ‘Draw Winner’ when the button appears.
Prizes
Finally, we come to the ‘Prizes’ section, which you can use to claim your prizes. You can have several prizes stacked up in different games here, they do not expire or are void in any manner. The only thing to consider is that you will have to claim each of the prizes individually (one transaction per prize).
Please note, the developers do not get any portion of the Prize Pool, these mini games are 100% focused on farmer fun and potential growth.
Don’t forget a mini game win can act as a short cut towards your 10x composting boost, which will compound your CORN production even further.
